At the Rippa factory, Mike demos the prototype RS20-3 skid steer, which has all the changes he asked for more than a year earlier.

WHAT HAS CHANGED

- The cooling fans and wiring harness are no longer exposed.

- An integrated backup camera and rear-facing lights.

- The cab is now the same cab as the new R57 excavator, with a much heavier door and the same door mechanism, along with the R57 computer.

Mike says this is a machine he would buy, with one remaining item: a gap that could let dust into the machine in dusty work such as mulching. The factory agreed to fix it, and once the fix is made, the machine will be transported and tested before coming to America. Mike says he'd then buy more than one.
