At the Powston factory, Mike looks at a new machine built for landscape and yard clearing. It has a large bed and a rotating grapple, which could turn a couple of hours of loading brush and fallen trees into about five minutes.
His notes: the machine is very tall, just over 13 feet 6 inches, and the roof does not fold, so he is not sure it would work well in the US where it has to be hauled on the highway. Pricing was not yet available when he filmed. He asked the factory about a version with the bed kept the same size but the rest of the machine shrunk by 25 to 30%, with taller sidewalls. The side walls fold down. He also says it is fast and moves like an off-road ATV.
Mike is looking at what technology would work for US customers, along with quality and parts availability, and asks for viewer feedback.
