Part 2 of the firmware update on a Rippa R18, R22 or R32 mini excavator. Mike from Rippa USA Sales shows what to do once the update has run. Watch part 1 first, and check with your dealer that your computer is the correct version before you start.
FINISHING THE UPDATE
1. After the update runs, the screen may look unchanged and may not show a message that it is finished. Be patient. If you turn the machine off too early, you can brick the computer.
2. When you believe it is done, turn the machine off.
3. Remove the USB key.
4. Turn the computer back on. If everything went correctly, it boots with RPM and engine temperature in Fahrenheit.
5. Check the language and other settings in the menu, then start the engine and confirm the gauges read as expected.
