Rippa machines come with a manufacturer parts warranty but no service (labor) warranty, which is one reason they are priced so well. Mike announces that Rippa USA Sales is stepping up to offer a service warranty.
HOW IT WORKS, AS DESCRIBED IN THE VIDEO
- We help you arrange service on warranty claims, with coverage bound by a number of labor hours. Mike gives an example based on 15% of a machine's price, which for an R10 with a Kubota diesel works out to about 7.75 hours.
- It applies to the base machine, not attachments, and the engines remain covered by their makers (Kubota, Yanmar and so on).
- It is effective retroactively for customers who already bought a machine from us.
Mike notes that Rippa doesn't offer this itself yet, so he is leading the way and hopes other dealers follow. Call us to confirm the current terms before relying on them.
